Meet Brit
Brittney Fehr (she, her, hers) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Yoga Teacher in British Columbia with a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Adler University. Brit is an elder millennial navigating the beauty and pain that is life, partnership, and parenthood.
Areas of Expertise
Brit has extended training and experience supporting folks with developmental and relational trauma, attachment wounds, neurodivergence (e.g., ADHD), perinatal mental health challenges, grief, substance use & misuse, chronic pain, stress & burnout, and mood disorders, such as anxiety, depression, & bipolar, and borderline personality disorder.
Her Approach
How she works: Brit draws on the science of the brain and nervous system and evidenced-based modalities of healing. She tailors her approach depending on her client's goals and pain-points. Some of the modalities she draws from include: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialetical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Parts Work (IFS and TIST), and Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT). She also draws on mindfulness-based approaches such as Focusing and Somatic Experiencing to help increase present-moment awareness and process what might be stuck.
She is understanding and empathetic, working collaboratively with her clients from a culturally-sensitive, affirming, and trauma-informed perspective.​ Clients find her kind, supportive, and direct when needed.
Our Approach
At Complete Counselling, we are dedicated to providing personalized and compassionate care to support our clients' mental and emotional well-being. Our approach integrates traditional talk therapy and modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), along side with mindful and body-based approaches such as Mindfulness, Compassion, Focusing, and Somatic Experiencing.
